No mass-produced milk for THE BIG MOO; we use only local milk from small family farms in Wisconsin with no added growth hormones. We hand-make each block in small batches so we can assure every block is cheese perfection. 

And, we're shipping this product cold via 2 Day Express in environmentally sensitive packaging, ensuring it arrives at your home as fresh as the day we made it.

We recommend the skillet, grill, air fryer, or oven, but the microwave works well in a pinch. The key is to use medium heat and flip the cheese occasionally. The outside should develop a sear or crust while the inside heats evenly to an internal temperature of 155-165 degrees Fahrenheit.

You can; however, we don’t recommend it. Cooking brings out the true flavor and texture of THE BIG MOO.

You should put your cheese in the refrigerator as soon as it arrives. The only exception is if you just can’t wait. In that case, just heat and eat it immediately (we get it!).

Yes, we treat our Wisconsin-based cows humanely from birth. They graze in pastures throughout their lives. In addition, our local family farms provide living conditions that more than meet the animals’ needs.

No, we do not give our cows any rBST of rBGH growth hormones.

Yes, THE BIG MOO is low in carbohydrates and high in protein and fat.

No, unfortunately, THE BIG MOO is not certified Kosher.

Yes, THE BIG MOO is Gluten-free and produced in a Gluten-free facility, but it is not certified Gluten-free.

Yes, THE BIG MOO is 100% cheese. Our Oh So Original flavor is made from only 3 ingredients: Milk from local family farms, enzymes, and salt: nothing artificial, no preservatives in THE BIG MOO, just cheese perfection.

It measures 4" x 6" x .5" and weighs 6 oz. Plenty for three-four people or one big eater.

At THE BIG MOO we make our cheese with microbial rennet not animal derived rennet.

We accept major credits cards, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and shopPay, Google Pay, and PayPal. We also welcome THE BIG MOO gift cards! To pay with a gift card, just enter the corresponding gift card number.

The minimum order quantity for THE BIG MOO is 3 blocks of cheese because of shipping constraints.

We currently ship two days a week.

- Your cheese will ship on Monday if you place your order by Sunday at 5:00 pm CST.

- Your cheese will ship on Wednesday if you place your order by Tuesday at 5:00 pm CST.

We use 2 Day delivery exclusively. Your cheese should arrive by 8:00 pm, two days after it ships. Please note that carriers occasionally experience shipping delays; we will do everything to ensure your cheese arrives as intended.

Yes, we will provide a shipping tracking number so you can monitor your cheese's every move from Wisconsin to your door.

We do our best to keep your cheese cool throughout transit by using an insulated box and gel packs so it stays as fresh as possible. That said, there's no need for immediate concern if your cheese is not cool when you open the box. We highly recommend putting the cheese in your refrigerator immediately. If there are quality concerns, please let us know within 7 days of receiving the product.

Yes! The exterior box is fully recyclable. The insulation used is a natural biodegradable material that will break down over several months in the landfill. The gel packs can be reused in personal coolers, etc.

No, we do not ship cheese if it were to be in transit or delivered on a major holiday to ensure your cheese's freshness. Major holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

We use 2 Day shipping exclusively and occasionally, this service, unfortunately, does not allow shipping to PO Boxes. But we will do our best and let you know!

Unfortunately, not at this time. We currently ship to the 50 states, even Alaska and Hawaii!

Unfortunately, we do not currently provide samples.

We do not currently offer any coupons, but you will get 10% off your first order if you sign up for our newsletter.

Our discount codes will not work on gift cards or monthly subscriptions unless otherwise noted. If you have any issues placing your order with a discount code, you can always message us at info@thebigmoocheese.com, and we will be happy to place the order for you.

Please reach out to us at info@thebigmoocheese.com, giving us all the details. We will work together to help you and determine if a return or refund is appropriate. We do require that the unused product be returned for all refunds and exchanges. We will generate a FedEx shipping label and email it to you.

In the event of a return, we will credit your original form of payment. For exchanges, we'll send new cheese your way the next time we ship.
