Protein-Style Bacon Cheeseburger

How to Make Protein-Style Bacon Cheeseburger

Ingredients:

  • 3 Blocks of The Big Moo - Bakin' Bacon
  • 6 Burger Patties
  • Iceberg Lettuce Leaves (Hamburger Buns Substitute)
  • 1 Large Tomato, Sliced
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Ketchup & Mustard (optional, for serving)
  • Pickles (optional, for serving)

Make it your own! Customize these cheeseburgers with your favorite toppings, dressings, and sauces—think avocado slices or onions, spicy sriracha mayo, or a tangy burger sauce to create a burger that's uniquely yours!

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. While the grill is preheating, wash and slice your tomato into thin slices. Similarly, wash and separate your iceberg lettuce into "bun-sized" pieces.
  3. Cook the burger patties to your desired level of doneness, typically 4-5 minutes per side for medium. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cook the cheese on the grill according to package instructions, about 7-8 minutes, flipping occasionally.
  5. Once the cheese has cooked, slice it in half using a pizza cutter or knife.
  6. To assemble the cheeseburgers, layer one burger patty along with a grilled slice of The Big Moo Baked Cheese and tomato.
  7. Optionally, add slices of pickle and drizzle ketchup and mustard.
  8. Top your burger with another iceberg lettuce leaf to act as the second half of the bun.

You can enjoy these protein-style cheeseburgers at any gathering, from casual family dinners to cookouts with friends. They're versatile enough to be the star of the show or a great addition to a larger spread.
