
MOO-velous Afternoon Tea Snacks
Bacon, Scallion, and Baked Cheese Mini Quiche
Ingredients:
- 1 Block of The Big Moo - Bakin' Bacon
- Bacon, cooked & crumbled
- Green onions, diced
- 2 pie crusts
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Chives, optional for topping
Cooking Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut The Big Moo into 1/2-inch cubes.
- Dice the green onions.
- Cook the bacon according to package instructions, then cool and crumble.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
- Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
- Cut circles from the pie crusts and press them into the muffin tin.
- Once crusts are ready, place a pinch of bacon, scallions, and a few Big Moo pieces into each pie crust.
- Fill each crust with the egg mixture.
- Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the tops become golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving and optionally top with chives.
Peach, Prosciutto, and Big Moo Bites, Drizzled with Honey
Ingredients:
- 2 fresh peaches
- 1 package of prosciutto
- 1 block of The Big Moo - Bakin' Bacon
- Honey, optional for topping
Cooking Instructions:
- Cut The Big Moo into 1-inch cubes and cook according to package instructions.
- Cut the peaches into thick slices.
- After the Big Moo is cooked, wrap each peach slice in prosciutto, top with a piece of Big Moo, and skewer with a toothpick.
- Plate and optionally drizzle with honey.
Cheesy Tea Cakes
Ingredients:
- 1 block of The Big Moo - Oh-So Original
- Your favorite jam, we used raspberry
- Crème fraîche, optional for topping
Cooking Instructions:
- Using a cookie cutter or knife, cut The Big Moo into 2-inch circles.
- Cook The Big Moo according to package instructions.
- Once cooked, allow to cool slightly, plate, then top with a dollop of jam and crème fraiche.
