Cheesy French Toast A La Moo

Ingredients:

  • 1 block The Big Moo - Oh-So Original or Harvest Cranberry
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • Fresh Berries
  • Maple Syrup
  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Beat the egg in a baking dish or pie plate.
  2. Whisk in 2 Tbsp melted butter, then slowly add 3/4 cup milk and 2 tsp vanilla, whisking to combine.
  3. Add 2 Tbsp sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/3 cup flour and a dash of cinnamon while continuing to whisk until totally smooth.
  4. Soak each side of The Big Moo in the batter for about 15-20 seconds.
  5. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and spread butter all over the bottom. Hold a stick and rub it everywhere.
  6. Cook the cheese for about 3 minutes, or until golden and flip the block, cooking on the other side for equal time or until golden.
  7. Serve with fresh berries, your favorite syrup, and/or powdered sugar
