Roasted Garlic & Oh-So Original Flavors Win Hearts of Judges & Consumers

Madison, WI (March 7, 2024) -- THE BIG MOO CHEESE was recently recognized with second and third place awards at the 2024 World Cheese Championship Contest. Hosted by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association, the contest judges entries across the globe for their flavor, texture, salt, color, finish, packaging, and other appropriate attributes. In the prepared cheese category, THE BIG MOO CHEESE’s Oh-So Original and Roasted Garlic baked cheese flavors were awarded second and third place respectively.  

With 3,302 entries in the 2024 contest, including more than 400 dairy manufacturers from 25 countries and 32 American states, THE BIG MOO CHEESE remains a steadfast competitor in the dairy market. Conceived from a Scandinavian tradition, this keto-friendly and gluten-free baked cheese continues to achieve national recognition, in addition to winning over the hearts, and taste buds, of consumers across the country.

THE BIG MOO Hoppin’ Jalapeño also won #1 Best in Class, Best Baked Cheese among Open Class: Pepper Flavored Cheese, Medium Heat entries with a nearly perfect 99.9 score from the international judges.
