In 2024, we teamed up with Caleb Schilling—FOX's very own TV sensation from LEGO Masters—as a sponsor for his YouTube Channel, Cheesey Studios! Caleb’s videos featuring The Big Moo Cheese racked up over 226,000 views. From a Cheesy Pizza snack break mid-build to showcasing our newest flavor, Harvest Cranberry, Caleb brought Big Moo to LEGO lovers everywhere.
Q: What’s Cheesey Studios all about? Give us the scoop on what fans can expect when they hit play!
Caleb: “Cheesey Studios is a YouTube channel I began after appearing on FOX’s LEGO Masters back in 2021! The videos I create celebrate anything and everything to do with the LEGO hobby. Whether you’re just starting building or a long-time LEGO veteran, you’re going to find something you like!”
Q: Wisconsin is famous for both its cheese and its creativity! How does partnering with The Big Moo Cheese reflect your Wisconsin roots and your passion for building?
Caleb: “Being a Wisconsinite myself, I feel we often take cheese for granted! And as silly as it sounds, it really is an integral part of our day-to-day lives. Collaborating with The Big Moo Cheese has given me a unique opportunity to share my passion for great cheese with an audience that typically doesn’t have the kind of access I do here in the Midwest. It’s crazy to think, but some people don’t actually have a dedicated cheese drawer!”
Q: As a builder and creator, what qualities do you think make for a strong partnership, and how does this collaboration bring out those qualities?
Caleb: “As I’ve pursued Cheesey Studios not only as a hobby but also as a business, I’ve found it very important to promote products that I genuinely believe in. Every YouTuber out there is peddling something, but I wanted my channel to work alongside a company I could actually get excited about. The Big Moo Cheese naturally checks all the boxes for me. And come on, Cheesey Studios partnering with a cheesemaker? That’s just too perfect! It’s really great to have two small businesses supporting each other in this way—it’s not something you see a lot of in the YouTube space.”
Q: If you had to choose one Big Moo flavor to snack on while building, which would it be and why?
Caleb: “Oof, that’s gotta be the hardest question yet. Hmm, you know, you can never go wrong with Cheesy Pizza. Cut that into sticks and dip it in some marinara—simple and delicious! But when I’m feeling a bit bolder, Hoppin’ Jalapeño really does hit the spot too. It’s been a great addition to my taco bowls!”
Q: At The Big Moo, we’re all about adding a playful twist to cheese. How do you bring that same sense of fun to your builds and keep your audience engaged?
Caleb: “I’m a grown man playing with LEGO, you know? So I suppose I shouldn’t really take myself too seriously! Cheesey Studios is all about embracing the awesome LEGO hobby and finding an escape from a non-stop, stressful world. It’s my hope that, much like sitting down to a good cheesy meal, watching some Cheesey Studios can provide some relief, fun, and laughter to your day. And better yet, I like to think that visiting the channel will leave you feeling inspired to create and build something for yourself!”
